well, it tooked me 5-7 hours to make the Ultimate weapon for the next beta, but the sprites and the decorate is halfly unbalanced. and it needs alot more in the AltFire, and DAMN does it cover the whole decorate. but now the fire needs more mmph. and the left hand of the gun needs a new base or needs to be PhotoShop colored brown. if someone can help me with the photoshop thing, i would apreciate it. just pm me if so. ill do the rest of the work with the right handed gun.

why is this called "The Ultimate Weapon"? Cause anyone remembers the Gears of Hell mod? well every AEod tribute has to have a (or some) powerful weapon(s), right? this weapon is one of the weapons of Gears of Hell. yea thats right. :twisted:

now it tooked a whole day for me to make this 2nd Ultimate Weapon. this is as powerful as the Darkness guns i mentioned. but this weapon was based on a popular skulltag-only classed based multiplayer horror mod. This weapons has alot of element to it, too. expetially to the last boss boss of the mod. :twisted: i call it the:

Heh, this mod is pretty damn cool. I like it a lot. :)

My favorite so far is the Dual SMGs.

its been a while i guess David. and thanks alot.

and later on, ill show all a gameplay with these Ultimate Weapons. and i still need a photoshop person to help me with base color change. but in the next beta, only one of the weapons will be present. and if i release both, there's gonna be a poll on which weapon is better, but there still unbalanced. but the Yurei Head is alittle close to be finished. now for info on the weapons:

Yurei Head: This head is nothing than just a head. this can curse bind and destroy the soul, giving you health if the enemy dies. and for the elemental and death defying, this head starts to drop blood from its eyes. she looks at her prey to unleash her power, and her posessions stored in her hollow head. she unleashes not a portal, but a wave of her elemental powers she used on the soldier who met her on the spire. yes, fire, ice, lightning, and a meteor shower to go with it too. what a mostrosity this head is.

Darkness Guns: past down literally generations posessing hosts. these weapons can let you control the darkness you pick up. it can electrify the enemies who get penetrated by this dark shock. this power comes from the right gun. the left though?
the left gun is actually a death cannon. this can charge into full power to fire a dark vortex nick named "The Black Hole". it can summon over 100 projectiles if it explodes, and the trails of the vortex is dark souls killing and posessing the bodies.
anything but you that comes in the dark vortex will be turned inside out. :twisted:

Really need to do something about the samey weapons (lots of machineguns with no major difference outside of the SMGs needing to reload), inconsistent hands (chainsaw in particular...and do you really need so many melee weapons?), and just in general the thrown-together feeling of the mod. It needs more cohesion. The weapons just don't seem to fit together, owing mainly to the wildly varied graphic styles of each of them (and the hands).

While this is a good first attempt, you should really keep these things in mind for the future.

its funny how i expect someone to say that, cause basically, the melee thing is the whole point of the mod. the different hands thing, well i dont know. when the weapons dont fit, thats part of the mod. and the realoading of the SMGs, keeping it.
the rest, im keeping it in mind. :mrgreen:

A heads up. Weirdly I've been playing this in Zdoom instead of GZdoom. You might want to explain to me how that's possible? :)

I need to start playing this mod again.

ok im back from doing important stuff. and agree with Weasel, what is your stuff that i should "credit"?
anyway, i found some new burning sprites that i can use for the zombies and imps, they came from Ultimate MK3. (Fatality!) :twisted:

edit: @David: im still making GLDefs for the mod, plus, new blood decals works in GZD in the next realese.

Well isn't this a comeback? srry for bump, but this mod is back from the dead, and it's renewed to the bone (kinda).
the changes here is pretty much than before, made some fixes, removed some stuff that are useless, and added in the 2 uber-weapons, and a weapon far more powerful than those 2. here are the changes:

the next release will have more than just this, and more effects will be added. and the Fatality burning will come soon. and some hand sprites will be replaced with plain gloveless hands. stay tuned tommorow or the next day for release of Beta #3!

ahh, its good 2 be back. anyway, tommorow is the day of the release, plus, im fixin up the samey weapon thing Weasel mentioned earlier. and im adding sparks to the Mauler and Callisto NTG. some weapons im adding in are gonna have doom marine hands for now, so then i get more time re-ripping the blood hands (virus prob). im also adding in the altfire for some weapons that deserve an altfire. and the ultimate weapon in my roster, u can say that it's as powerful as the powerful AEoD weapon and Gears of Hell weapon.
