So i've been on the hunt for basically a rebalanced vanilla weapon set. so far my favorites:
-weapons of saturn
-faspons
-beautiful doom

Does anyone have any recommendations for more vanilla+ weapon mods?

Funny I never saw that before! this is really cool (as usual for your mods). Do you have any vanilla + OTHER than your own project you'd recommend that i haven't listed already?

Yeah, couldn't get into it.
Gotta say, Weapons of Saturn is by far the best vanilla rebalance i've ever played. hands down the uncontested champion.
Faspons is a close second.
Beautiful doom has always been good but not very adventurous to me, although i've been having fun tweaking about with the "modern" mode to tune up the gameplay a bit here and there.

IDK man, been considering making one but work/life is not conducive of a new pet project. I have a good idea of where I want it to go but i know I want to code it in Z-script and make the animations really smooth and original.

Just recently checked out The Veteran.

Good selection of weapons and firing modes. Some seem a bit overpowered but enemy attacks have been enhanced. Also has a nice looking custom HUD and crosshairs.

Just thought i'd share this link i dug up from earlier for DON'S CHALLENGE. A Cory Whittle mod that runs on EDGE or 3dge
One day, somehow, i'd love to remake this in gzdoom. however, not in the chips ATM. But it's worthy of a mention.

hai i just joined today i was wondering if anyone has the following mods:
1.a mod that get rids of the muzzle climb/ recoil during firing in brutal doom v18a.
2.a mod that returns the burst shot alt-fire of the plasma rifle for brutal doom v19.

Cyrgoth's Manor is a cool Hexen hub with 7 maps, for those of you looking for more Hexen.



It's vanilla, so you can use mods with it, so it works great with Karnak.
