This looks really impressive. The mental calculations to get the angles right are making my head spin - even with your elegant solution.

I really hope you can add the juicy gore from pre-RE4 Resident Evil games (like blowing up heads/legs/torsos/etc and pools of blood on the corpses) which made Resident Evil a good game.

Damn, that really looks like good ol' Resident Evil. But you can't have RE without badass boss battles. Like Nemesis. *nudge* :)

Looks very cool, although I fear the static cameras will make it very frustrating to play.

Loving what I see, keep it up!

Also, how are you intending on creating an effective laser-sight?

Uhm, what do you mean exactly? Do you mean technical aspects or how the player is able to use it?

Technical aspects, because doom is notoriously iffy about good laser sights. I've seen rail shots, inherited mage projectiles, hitscan bulletpuffs and even sprite laser sights. However because your mod relies on third person, a really accurate laser would be required.

(Also, great 3d zombies, creepy as hell)

The laser beam is done with simple transparent 3d-model and a red gradient texture, which seem to work pretty fine right now. The red dot in the end of the beam is made with regular sprite, which isn't ready yet. :)
However, the red dot works strangely as you can see. It's not get straight on the surface of the wall or enemy but stays to float in the air. That is because "the red dot" projectile is so fast that is will stay in the certain points of the beam.

I'll try to slow it down so the "points" get smaller, but I afraid it will never work perfectly. :/

To quote a random hippy bloke with this weirdass clothes and hair:

'No. No. That's not true! That's impossible!'

Okay, whatever I said about other mods so far (Apart of the ones I am working on!), this has to be the most amazing thing I've ever seen on the Gzdoom engine.

I will not eat, not sleep and not look away another second, continued bashing of the f5 key untill this is released.

Still is, right above the screenshots. I really hope he gets this done; the video is indeed awesome and the final product would be very unique.
