Isn't it the same color, more or less, of the original Mancubus? It'd probably be easier to edit the D2 Mancubus than recolor/edit the D2.5 Mancubus.

I'd give a nukage recolor a shot, after a normal variant is finished.

Edit:

Does that mean you'll sprite a few, and only use one?

I have several ideas, but i don't think using all of them is a good idea. So yes I'll sprite a few (atleast the movement and attack frames) and then see which of the designs I like better.

Phobos, an in-progress Doom 3 mod by Team Future (the RTC-3057 and Nimrod guys), adds a quite impressive-looking arachnotron. You might be thinking of that?

I figured since I'll be using this thread to help with my Doom 3 monster pack, I decided to get screenshots of the Guardian (and Seeker) and Cyberdemon, and I realized I forgot the Archvile, as well:
Spoiler: Cyberdemon
Spoiler: Guardian
Spoiler: Seeker
Spoiler: Archvile
(If anyone's wondering what map that is, it's the Tower of Babel Redux, by Bauul. The lighting and size for that map are perfect for monsters this size.)

Hey, that cyberdemon is scaled. It's not as the real size.

And i didn't care at all about the map. :P

Yeah, the real D3 Cyberdemon's about as tall as the D1/2 Cyberdemon. That one was heavily modified for a challenging boss battle (20,000 health, player-power rockets), but it still has all the visual details of the real D3 version.
