I used to really like the fact that when I was in a big, echoey room the menus and UI sounds were also echoey. I'm sure that it's probably is for the best, but I will miss my echoey menus.

Heh. Funny enough, I explicitly changed the OpenAL code to apply reverb to the menu sounds, since that's what the FMOD code did..

EDIT:
Or rather, I changed the OpenAL code to apply reverb to non-pausable sounds, which included the menus. Seems he's using an explicit flag to prevent it right now.

egad! Fixing a bug that changes the DNA of Doom? That was a FEATURE, not a bug!

There can be non-pausable sounds in the game as well so you didn't do it for nothing.

Echoey locked door sounds in Hexen are cool though don't take those away too
