@BlueOyster

You do make a certain point, he is probably one of the easiest bosses to take down. just remember the fact though if he DOES get one of his attacks off (and with 6k hp he will) your gonna be in serious pain if its in a small area. If hes in a large area, he is easy but just remember not too take him too lightly! :)

Current progress in Hell Revealed 2: I think I'm about halfway through map15.

The funny thing is in map 15 (which is called "The Path II", when I stepped through the telepad, I instantly telefragged the overlord that I thought I would end up fighting.

LMAO. Thats probably due to the fact that it can reach parts of the map that the default monster cant?

Actually, that was because when playing HR2's map15 normally, you instantly telefrag the spider mastermind once you step on the first telepad.

It would help if you could specify what you mean by 'it wont work'

When you download and extract the folder, it should be all set. All you need to do is place the iwads in the scoredoom folder with the .exe and place the addonpack (seperate download) in the skins folder. Then drag the wad you wanna play onto the .exe and your good to go! Just wanna play the iwads then just click on the .exe and your set.

I made it to map24 of Hell Revealed 2 and for some stupid reason my online highscoring thing is disabled again!

What's causing that? I really don't want to deal with having to start the map over just to beat it with the thing still enabled.

Its possible, that the hi score server went down, or had trouble
making a connection to the database. This will happen only at the
start and end of levels, but not in the middle of the level. For
instance, at the end of a level, if the server is down, when the
client loads the next level and does the zdoom auto-save, the flag
which turns off online scoring will be saved to the save-game file.
Save-game files keep check of which mode you are in, as well as the
online scoring flag to stop cheating, but I realise it can be a pain
in the arse.

I've accidently hit the 3rd person view key, which will caused it to
disable online hi scoring. So any keys which do illegal commands,
should be unbound or placed somewhere far away on the keyboard. Its
possible that something like this happened?

I doubt it is something with the map, but I will take a look this
weekend at map24.

Oh, the server went down that time? I thought it was because I liberally used Changemus whenever I encounter a megaboss demon.

Anyways, I've finally beaten Hell Revealed 2, with a final score of 3531104. I would really like to see someone top that.

It's possible my host went down, but changemus would of probably done it too, havent used that command, but virtually all console commands are pretty much disallowed during gameplay.

Anyways, congratulations on the score! :-)
