ÆoD (6.06.02 (03-14-16))

Projects that have specifically been abandoned or considered "dead" get moved here, so people will quit bumping them. If your project has wound up here and it should not be, contact a moderator to have it moved back to the land of the living.

Exactly, and as long as you cheat in single-player, it's fine. I mean, they don't put them in for no reason. although I usually don't use infinite ammo, unless I get the heavy rocket launcher. :)

Cheat Codes are for developers and wusses.

I like to think of God Mode as Extra Manly Mode.

Seriously though, who cares if people play single player with cheats or not. It's not like it has any effect on how you play the game.

Pah. I never use God mode. I do, however, have a key bound to giving me a megasphere and resurrecting me when I die in the stupidest places (read: everywhere) and don't feel like restarting from last save (which I normally do at the beginning of levels...)

Of course, A_Skullpop kinda dampens that plan, but I'm willing to deal with it if mod creators are smart enough to make that part of the XDeath properties...

Not all the time actually. Someone might use cheats to give them more clip ammo so they can beat the game with only a pistol. Maybe they want to beat the game with only a fist (berserk maybe) and a pistol. Who knows? Though I don't know who does that, my point still stands in which people could use cheats to make the game more interesting (or fit) for them.

So, basically it boils down to I must be a developer, or super Manly. :) That's a great title for God Mode ,mind you.
To PDF: Would you like it if I called you a Wuss? I didn't think so, so how about not insulting cheaters.
sorry for dragging your topic down, I know how crazy and slightly zealous people get over cheat codes.
So, any new additional monsters you plan on adding soon? The fun never stops. Or maybe a good level to spawn some based on class randomly? Press a button, fight? How about that?

Personally, no one should care about people cheating in their own singleplayer game. Hey, I like to run through invasion mods for Skulltag on single-player, so hey, you kind of need to cheat.

Oh for christs sake a Rictus poped out in the beginning of The Time Gate level in Eternal Doom. Do you know how long it takes to beat some of those levels on UV pistol start?!?!!? Arg...I shall be haunted by the flame crackling loop....

Also, loading or quickloading makes no difference with the Ricktus problem...Who in there right mind would not use quickloading?

Ah, yeah the heavy shotgun. My favorite weapon so far. Playing Titan 2 with this, and the heavy shotgun was my first weapon pickup (Awesome!) And now I'm pwning everything. The grenade is so awesome, it actually functions like a grenade.

1 thing I've noticed though, is that the shadow imps make me lag to an extreme every tine they pop up in opengl. Maybe the translucency and the ghost effect.

Well, actually, my favorite shotgun is the Q2 supershotgun. I do like the heavy one though, if I don't get the big one soon. :)

Arch, I have no idea what the problem is. I don't even hear a sound when I run into it usually, too much other stuff going on. Have you tried freeze in the console to see if the sound stops? Or use a time freezer? If there's still sound during those, then there might be a really weird bug. Unfortunately, only DB or Ichor can help.

If you had a good reason to, yes. Unfortunately, you don't.
I didn't think so, so how about not insulting cheaters.
I could have been a lot worse about insulting cheaters. Come on, look at that sentence again.

Fine, I conceed that point. But regardless, there's still no need for name calling. Unless you're calling me a Developer. :)

You use the alt-fire. However, this only applies if you have collected more than one spell. If you have only one, it will do nothing, but once you find another one, it will flip between the available spells.
