Anywho, looks really good, but at long distances with a rapid-fire railgun, because of particle limits, the particles disappear. :(

Be much cooler if you could force the Particles to use Addititive lighting in decorate. D:

It'd be actually cooler without the particles at all, since they scream "I'm a railgun!" rather than "I'm a sunstaff!"...

Meh, I don't really like the rail trails used when it isn't actually a railgun, especially when the spiral is present, I would use a projectile instead for the staff

That would also allow the thing to bounce around, like the sunstaff. However, i think if he only used the center group of particals without the spiral, it should look ok.

Good news, 'cause I wanted an ice rod in my mod. The mage currently uses his hands for a new starting weapon - a fireball spell - so I wanted to change around the Frost Shards into a new Ice Weapon. And I still want to include the 4th class, so the more weapons the merrier.

As for the Cleric's sunstaff, I COULD just have it fire the mage's sapphire wand missile - I already have the sprites recolored to yellow and in the version above it actually switches between rail shot / wand shot - you can see the mage shots if you look closely.

I think that would be better than having that and the railgun particles.
