Heh, 10X EVERYTHING would be cool. 10X all items, 10X enemy drops, 10X enemy shots, 10X max armor and health, 10X jump height... 10X whatever the hell you can think of. It would probably be a shitty lag fest, but still interesting to see.

Well, it wasn't really clear, but I was more going towards the more subtle changes such as the health and armor boost or jumping height. The other stuff was just for the 10X theme.

Couldn't you just reduce the size of the player and all the things to a tenth of their original size? Then it'd be usermap compatible.

Crazy wacky nuttiness. I liked it. The monsters seem to have a lot more free range of motion, and they can pop up in unexpected places or be totally absent from their usual haunts. And, obviously, there's a flux load of them. Insanely frustrating with normal weapons. Tolerable with fast weapons. Haven't tried x10 weapons yet, but I tried it out with overp0wered weapons as Xaser suggested and that... is pretty freaking fun. Played through first three levels like that.
Stuff I liked:
- player, projectiles, and other monsters being able to move through monsters. I think this would be kind of silly otherwise for various reasons.
- monsters seem to have more range of motion (+DROPOFF maybe? Haven't looked.)
- watching huge groups of hitscan monsters slaughtering each other.
Suggestion:
There's a crap load of ammo and stuff laying around by the time you kill everything. It kind of makes it hard to see what's going on. I'd suggest maybe having like only 1/5 chance of dropping ammo, and dropping 5x as much ammo or similar to cut down on the pickup clutter. Maybe you could also let the corpses fade out or something after a while. Playing this wad for an hour or so has gotten my laptop the hottest physically it has ever been, so i'd say it's kind of pushing it...

I wasn't planning on making this a serious thing but decomposing corpses sounds cool to me! The drops can change too I guess. Dropoff is used to make sure more monsters are spawned and generally make them find their way to you easier
Try the factory. Run into the tower at the start and kill stuff, and soon after you'll be surrounded by spiders!
