this was....interesting....i managed to beat map 01 but i can't prove it, so i'll just have to do it again with some gamerecorder demo

Doing map01 or e1m1 on nightmare mode is seriously nothing, atleast give me a challenge.

Try doing this on Ultra-realistic mode on Hideous Destructor or something, that'll seriously kick your ass and leave you bleeding in the corner, I'm tellin' ya.

I've just made a super-quick demonstration for HD. It's actually not that bad - a single grenade can take out quite a few guys so if you avoid the initial barrage you're fine. EDIT: HOLY CRAP IT'S A GIGANTIC, CONTINUOUS TONGUE OF FLAME

I'll edit once I take a look at Cutty's wad and figure out how he got the fireballs to go through. EDIT: Done.

Yeah the code is very simple so it should be easy to define your own monsters.

I was going to make all the weapons fire ten times as many bullets/projectiles but I feel that would ruin the HARDCOREness of it :mrgreen:

Hehe, this is actually a pretty reasonable challenge when played with 0verp0wer Weapons. I wasted a good two hours of sleep last night messing with it. Bloody genius, Cutty!
