Re: [Project]Hexen II Monsters
Whether or not Korax rides a serpent, I think that we can all agree that he's an absolute badass.
"Greetings mortal... Are you ready to die?"
When I first played Hexen, all those years ago... That was the moment where I got scared, but also curious what was in store for me. I just had to keep playing.
The actual fight against him is pretty sweet, too. Instead of a Cyberdemon-esque "HURR I HAVE LOTS OF HP AND SHOOT EXPLODING THINGIES AT YOU" slugfest, he had some clever tricks up his metaphorical sleeve... The minion summoning, the floor-into-lava, the instadeath ground spikes... Just awesome.

Somebody needs to make a D'Sparil-riding-Korax edit

Psh. Somebody needs to make a Heresiarch-riding-Korax mod, to make the final battle like it was supposed to be (though you'd have to make something new in place of the Heresiarch's current boss battle, too.. unless you just want to let him fight twice).Medricel wrote:Somebody needs to make a D'Sparil-riding-Korax edit

The D'Sparil clearly has the biggest spike up his rear.

Heh, it's really visible in that side-view of the one D'Sparil's riding and the Hexen version. I guess we can assume he removed the spike from the Chaos Serpent, somehow, but it really does look painful, sitting on it, like that.Eriance wrote:The D'Sparil clearly has the biggest spike up his rear.
(It seems every time I wake up and check the forums, this thread has gone to another topic. )

Heh, if you look carefully you can still see D'Sparil's boots stuck to the side of the Hexen Serpents on some of the sprites

It wouldn't be that one that you decided to remove from the spriting carnival was it?

With the Heresiarch now happy with his new ride, what will Eidolon get?
