Re: The Exterminator: Bigger Backpack Edition (New Demo release)
I finished adding in the sounds to the Cowboy Lizard and they're pretty cool. The death sound I added is so much better than the temporary one I had (it was Trevor's death sound from Metal Slug 4. It didn't really match at all) Now all I have to do is replace the Baron of Hell (I already know what to do for him), Cyberdemon, and the Spider Mastermind (I know what I'll be replacing it with) and the SS Wolfenstein guys and possibly the Commander Keen and I'll be done making the enemies and I can concentrate on other stuff. I'm not sure what I could work on after replacing the enemies, but I probably shouldn't worry about that right now. That's not going to happen for a long time.
I'll probably release a new demo (and possibly a new video too) once I complete the Baron of Hell replacement.

Re: The Exterminator: Bigger Backpack Edition (New Demo release)
So... the progress so far since the last release:
- Made an official titlepic.
- I finished the Cowboy Lizard enemy.
- I officially added the SS Pichu enemy into the mod.
- I added the Cubone Agent, the never-before-released enemy from my dead Pokestein 3D mod.

Re: The Exterminator: Bigger Backpack Edition (New Demo rele
After a couple months of putting this off, I'm finally working on my Vanguard robot (the Baron of Hell replacement). I have the walking animation done, and I just started working on its punching animation. After that, I have the shooting animation, injured animation, and the death animation to work on. Next will be gathering the sounds I need and work on its DECORATE coding which should be somewhat easy to do.

Re: The Exterminator: Bigger Backpack Edition (New Demo rele
After two days of nonstop work, I have it completed. I figured out why my seesounds weren't working: I forgot to put in the $random in the code for the multiple see sounds. I can't believe I didn't see that. So now that I have it completed, all I have to do is make a video of it in action. I'll try to have that done by the end of the week.

Re: The Exterminator: Bigger Backpack Edition (Beta13 Releas
Here's the latest version of The Exterminator. This beta has some new changes.
http://files.drdteam.org/index.php/file ... beta13.zip
- *Brand new titlepic as seen in my most recent video.
*Brand new enemies, the Cowboy Lizard (spawns with the Medic Lizard) and the Vanguarder MK3 (finally replacing the Baron of Hell)
*Officially added in the SS Pichu and Cubone Agent, enemies from my dead Wolfenstein 3D mod called Pokestein 3D.
*Made a few more tweaks to some graphics and enemy stats.

Re: The Exterminator: Bigger Backpack Edition (Beta13 releas
This is one of the videos I made to celebrate the release of Beta 13 of my mod. It's supposed to be a cheesy 30-second commercial. The Flash movie took 3 days to make. The other video is going to be an ingame movie showcasing the Vanguarder MK3 and the Cowboy Lizards in action.

Somehow, I was expecting, "In a world where lizards are taking over, one lizard takes a stand. You ARE... The Exterminator!" But maybe that's just me. A great video, though. And backed by a very fun mod.

Haha. Thanks. Glad you like it.
So I've got a short video being uploaded right now onto Youtube featuring the Vanguarder MK3 robots in action. Unfortunately, I've got a really shitty internet connection so it's going to be a while before it gets uploaded. I will update the link when I can.

Alright, here's the new video. It's a short video showing the Vanguarder MK3 robot in action. Unfortunately, the frame rate is a bit choppy.

Re: The Exterminator: Bigger Backpack Edition (Beta13 releas
I'm starting to think that the current fullscreen HUD is kinda getting old. Should I replace it with that Metal Slug inspired HUD I made a while back or no?

Re: The Exterminator: Bigger Backpack Edition (Beta13 releas
I think that the one that is in now is good, the Metal Slug HUD is way too small and doesn't work in resolutions lower than 1024x768, which is bad. However maybe you could have it as a third alternative HUD?

Re: The Exterminator: Bigger Backpack Edition (Beta13 releas
Hmm... couldn't I use Forcescale or something to make it work on the lower resolutions?

Re: The Exterminator: Bigger Backpack Edition (Beta13 releas
I was just messing around with some old HUD resources tonight and I this is what I came up with:

Here's an alternate version of the new HUD:

I kind of like this one, but I'll probably fix it some more by getting rid of most of those gray boxes. This HUD's design was heavily inspired by the Metal Slug HUD.
Here's the current HUD just for comparison.

Should I go ahead and replace the current one with the new one or should I just keep the current one?

Buy it, use it, break it, fix it,Trash it, change it, (Props to the first person who knows what thats from)
In others words,I would vote yes on the change
