Mostly I'm a grouch because I don't like angled weapons anyway.

I think everyone's getting a wee bit bitter if you ask me. Everyone go sit in the corner. The same corner. :P

Fixed some issues.

To be honest, I was planning to use this as part of a select/deselect animation; I just made it angled like that if anyone wanted to use it as such.

Honestly, I don't think it was THAT bad. The latest version looks decent enough. I'd use it!

Nothing in particular -- I've just been a bit of a grumpyfarg lately... not sure if it's fair to blame stress or anything, so I'll just say "sorry guys" and tone down a bit, I think. :(

Thanks there..

It's okay Xaser. I appreciate your feedback anyways. Thanks :)
You too Gez and Wildweasel.

On another note, I have found out that Doomguy has had one health potion too many.

So I present the ZDoom Community, a more powerful version of the Firebomb from Rise of the Triad by Apogee Software (now 3D Realms).

And this weapon is so powerful, it can kill a cyberdemon at 1 shot (maybe the same damage for the BFG 11,000 , you remember the old Weapons Resource .WAD?

It's called the "FlanKiller" due to it's highly destructive munitions fired by this gun, and it makes lots of nuclear explosions, if it has to be in Heretic, then the unpowered weapons are ordinary RoTT ones and the powered-up ones are the "Black Edition" ones. (I mean Black Edition means FAR deadlier from the original weapon)

As with the WRW.WAD remembrance, do you remember Rise of the Triad: The HUNT Begins or even Dark War? (the one you fight the big bad bosses of the game even the Nasty Metallic Enforcer is one of them)

The pickup sprite is translated to darken it's metal and turn the yellow and orange into red using this ("Translation from index 112-127 into 250-254")

So if you want to do translations, Do not translate a colour to index 247, that's the "see-thru colour" in your .WAD editors.

[GUN SPRITES]
FKILA0 = idle
FKILB0 to FKILD0 = firing

How about a louder version of the rocket fire sound from Quake? (weapons/sgun1.wav) in Quake's pak0.pak

Rise of the Triad is © Apogee Software (now 3D Realms) and I got the sprites from one of their games for a recolour for the "deadlier variations" of the weapons. Original content is owned by it's respective owners.

Well, i hope the ammo is insanely rare. That sounds like overkill.

As for the image, well... It looks weird. A bit unpolished. There are some stray pixels here and there.

To be honest, that's the best angled Doom Shotgun I've seen. Then again when it's going up against competition like this this:

it looks like a work of art by comparison.

Well, your looks okay. Not perfect, but at least some effort went into it.

The other angled shotgun sprite looks okay too, but it's angled weirdly, the barrel looks bent.
