I could have sworn the Disaster Area text was a Hitchhikers Guide reference

So, it's not a sprite, but I thought I'd share this:

A model of the Nishimura Seven Battle Rifle.

Crusader Queen movements cycle (8 poses). This thing has taken forever to make, but I'm happy with the results.

Ngl, the concept of that cyborg-angel is pretty cool. Funny I've played some campaigns with your mod for the first time two weeks ago

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
done more to this 'un again...
do use if wanted...
mostly the new reload frame based on doomnukem's pdw, albeit heavily edited and a better boltpull (cos pulling with a single finger is laughably silly and this just makes sense...)do use if wanted...

I'll admit, back when I would play your OldSchool mod in my teenage years, the SMG's scope/sight thing always looked like a screaming face, but yeah, that new reload looks pretty good!

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
yeah the old pdw sprite i based the smg off of (I found it in mutiny.wad) had a hammer type thing on the back.Craneo wrote:I'll admit, back when I would play your OldSchool mod in my teenage years, the SMG's scope/sight thing always looked like a screaming face, but yeah, that new reload looks pretty good!
It never really made sense,so I changed it into this little square scope a little while back when porting this over as a skin for the smg in major crisis
oh and teenage years? thanks for making me feel old...

I was playing tnt for the first time in my teenage years...

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
The weapon looks great but the bolt-pull lever is very short versus the size of the hand and how the lever is being held.
If you look at the length of the lever compared to the width of the fingers and think about the hand position and how the lever would sit in the hand, Doomguy really doesn't have much of a grip on it and his hand could easily slip off IMO.
I don't recall how the single-finger pull looked but a single index finger hooked over such a short lever would actually have more purchase than the way the new hand position does.

Well, shit... you're not wrong at all... Will come back to this again soon...
*edit* improved the length of the bolt and re-jigged the pull anim some.
yeah, its still a little small but it makes A LOT more visual sense now. (thanks again enjay!)
I feel that if I make it any bigger now, or the hands any smaller for that matter, then it would start to look wrong in those areas.
possible to go too far and all that...

You're right that it probably is still a bit small. However, your reasons for the compromise make sense (and are probably correct) and it does look a lot better than it did.osjclatchford wrote:yeah, its still a little small but it makes A LOT more visual sense now. (thanks again enjay!)

Well, what do ya know... I ain't dead yet lmao
A few days late for Star Wars day but still, I was replaying the Jedi Outcast/Academy and thought the E-11 blaster looked nice and iconic in those two games, so here we are.
Comes in the game's strange default colors and a somewhat more accurate color scheme.
