I made those car sprites based in real pictures for my mod.

If you find them usefull, you can use them for your project.

Oh I think I, or more likely my older brother, had a little toy car like that, ages ago, at my grandmother's house. It was white instead of yellow but this made me remember it for some reason. It was on a bigger scale than a matchbox car, but it was always mixed up with those anyway since it didn't have other cars its own size to mingle with. I haven't thought about that in a long time.

And dunno why... It brings me a nostalgic memories. JPG Rendering, and the cheap plastic feel to it(no offence). When i was a kid, i used to have a plenty of Hot Wheels toy cars and played with them like they were in video game and whatnot.

Anyways it just makes me happy, that's all. :)

I'm pretty sure the 'Unknown' was me... The original sprite for this was in my Wolf3D TC.

EDIT: Yes, this was mine. Found the .psd in my backups. This was all recolor and frankensprite work from other Wolf/SoD sprites.

A lot of community sprites are getting posted on places like PNGitem without any credits. I mean, this issue had existed forever but its always best to find the trail if you can.

I think the only thing wrong is that it shows up like a jpeg, that makes it hard to separate into sprites and put into something like doom. apart from my plastic car memories it is also evocative of some of the scenery in the original mortal kombat, like the giant buddha statue that i assume was in actuality quite small before it was digitized.
and i personally always advocate for higher resolution sprites if you have higher resolution sources, but I realize that is an uncommon sentiment!

then an edit to remove that second part because it was bothering me

Jeez, i was thinking about looking for something exactly like that! Do you have a non-blur version as well?
