Fun Fact: In the very beginning(muse's castle wolfenstein), the player could loot SS uniform and disguise as them. I guess that's the homage to it.

Or maybe it's to make translations easier by using one color range for the outfit.

Well I thought as much at first but green is usually the preferred colour for said use. Now I think of it I assume it's blue because it's based off of existing ss sprites...

If it's too recolour him his eyes are going to change colour with his cloths, since they're also blue. Really cool sprite though.

OT- Gez is more than likely right. The reason I and many others would choose to make a Wolf 3D sprite blue instead of any other color is because in Wolf 3D's case, blue has a lot of shades in the Wolf 3D palette that can easily be color swapped through a program like RecolorBMP. With that said, yes, the eyes would also change colors but it's fairly easy to correct that once the color changes have been made.

Personally I would go for a seperate colour on the boots, like gray or black. Right now he kind of looks like a dude in a blue overall, or oncie-pyjamas.

no worries fellas, he's getting a fresh coat of green (and grey) once i finish the set. i'm only using the blue for now since the SS guard was the base (he'll also keep his blue uggs).

I recently partook in a megawad effort, 2048 Units Of /vr/ (the final 1.2 version is now available), and for fun I decided I would make some weapons for it, I used some which I had lying around (the 1911, the shotgun with the vented shroud, etc). The weapons have new graphics and/or animations, but mostly behave the same as their vanilla counterparts, available as both a Decorate version, and a stripped down DeHacked version for Boom.

This is a submachinegun I made to replace the Chaingun. It's based partially on the older subgun I did, using its magazine and magazine well, then the rest is put together from Alpha/Beta guns, the stock is painted over one of those parts. The muzzleflash is from the Atari Jaguar port of Wolfenstein 3D, I'm fairly certain. The rear end-cap on the receiver comes from a 3D render of a Carl Gustaf m/45 Kulsprutepistol (someone posted the rip of it here once I think, I'm not 100% sure on authorship). The charging handle is based on that knob/bolt/whatever that protrudes out the sides on the pistol in HacX, because I find that part looks just about right as a charging handle for this kind of gun, I scaled it some and added knurling. Pickup sprite was roughly put together in an old version of PimpMyGun, to get the approximate shape I wanted, then I shrunk that down and photoshopped it like mad.

Some of the sprites are frankensprites, so here ya go.
(Might add to garage later.)
