Gonna be working on the other frames in the mean time, but I think I've settled on a size for the HUD sprites.

Been messing around with a few signs, decals and other to liven up the enviornment... figured sense I've been building theme sets(astro burger joint)... why not keep at it. Maybe somebody will find use of some of this stuff I've been hammering out in classic MS paint.

Why yes! Metal Slug 3D models are already exist since Metal Slug 3D, but in sprite, they look impressive and has good quality.

But the perspective on them rotations might make them float and whatnot, tho!

Testing render it kinda fits already. Few tweaks for texture and a lot of hand animating. Also I need to find the source of the model.

Nice. As you say, it looks quite fitting already. It does look quite chunky, but then sprites in the Doom engined games do and I believe that medieval warhorses often were quite stocky.

*horse*
Looks great! Do you use any special shaders when rendering sprites or is it pretty vanilla? I'm struggling to find a good workflow for rendering sprites, myself.

I just disable antialiasing and than play with light and textures. I tried using fressnel to add some darker borders but it didn't worked that well. Either it was too much or it wasn't visible at all.
