Thank you guys, you are so kind :)

This is part of my ongoing work for PB, but as they didnt ask me to keep it for that project only, prefer to share it for more general use. There are actually many other cool death and scenery animations I did recently I might share too. Especially as I usually get no direct indication there for if and when my art will get used.
All those details - wrenches
One can obviously remove wrenches later if he is going more for "construction worker" concept for his mod... Looking back - I wish I had made a separate version without those.

No, the wrenches are great touch.
Besides it would look odd, when someone decide worker zombies should repair arachnotron.
They would look silly repairing him Wacky Race - Slag Brothers style.

man, your creations are perfect. I like every one of them. Ribshoot, spin death all great. Even the hell torch has nice touch with last damage frame. Headshot gib looks too exaggerated. Apparently disintegration is not disintegrating bones , but its sweet nonetheless

Pretty neat job on working on the enemy. The armor reminds me of a DRLA Mechanic armor that has a similar design, but the hard hat. Otherwise, it's a neat thing to add this guy, maybe let him build fortifications?

something could be done with attack animation, besides where do you find scraped monster from IdSoftware?

he should has more hp, because he has a hard hat - safety first.

I can see his arm muscles and my, looks very powerful. However, it looks comical with his head being pain-state at the frame where he's about to strike with the hammer.

Thanks for the kind feedbacks guys :) And constructive remarks :)
This is just a beta, a bit rushed, I can sure fix and alter stuff. Will start with attack state mouth (need to try attack rotations as well). About attack frames - what exactly needs fixing? The mouth?

Currently head it's facing forward , side , forward again.
It should be gradually , side , sideish, forward.
To eliminate the jump.

Just the mouth, yes! And maybe making the head stare at the player would be nice too.

Having now seen it animated, I tend to agree. The wrenches (or spanners as I'd call them) look a bit clumsy and fussy and they (along with their belt) don't animate as well as the rest of the enemy.

However, overall he looks great - very in keeping and potentially very useful. There should have been more "civvy" types in Hell on Earth rather than there only being military zombies IMO. It would have underlined the difference between the space setting of Doom and the Earth setting of DoomII. Mind you, DoomII already needed one more floppy than Doom. ;)

You mentioned variations - personally I think a wrench-less one wielding the sledge hammer and a wrenched-up one wielding one of those huge heavy duty monkey wrenches would be cool. Of course a chainsaw variant would also make sense (or a concrete saw, or a drill), and a nail gunner... But, yeah, those would all take time that you probably don't have even if you wanted to do them.

BTW, I actually quite liked the pain face being used during the attack. I can imagine him giving a "tennis player's grunt" as he swings the hammer and the open mouth works with that IMO.
