Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Wow! I can't believe it's a (cleaned version) of an AA12! I christen it as the AA12A1 the UAAF/UAC/US Space Marines' updated variant of the AA12.
Based on SgtMarkIV's version of the Captain Toenail AA12 (which I'd say "his changes" are actually derived from someone else's AA12 changes) and of course, someone from way back's futuristic pump action shotgun (in the spawn sprite, and the rails) Which I'm sure that was GA(A?)1992

Just also reworked the Alpha 0.3-0.4 rifle into it's (likely) inspiration, the M1 Garand, the Barrel + Foresight will probably need to be changed.

Looking good! And would be nice if the barrel was detailed as rear part, though!

@XLightningStormL
Well, if you say so... but my 20-20 vision is not keen enough to recognize those inspirations you got from me

now that's a better, and and good looking Autoloader!jdredalert wrote:That's a lovely pickup SomeOtherDoomGuy. I'll keep both yours and GAA's, since i'm probably ripping a full sized lever action rifle from Fallout New Vegas soon. Now, i'll see what i can do about a viable 3D model for the spinning animation. I'll catch you up via PM.
EDIT - I guess the shotgun was improved after all...

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
It's an improvement but the angle isn't great. The heavy offset to the side is probably fine, it's not my favorite thing but it doesn't seem inherently wrong. However the tilt is. Notice how the horizontal sections of the gun (viewing from the back) tilt down to the left? That's not ideal, having it straight and plain single-point-perspective will look better. It also looks like it's held too high, unless you wanted it held at the shoulder but having it that far to the side at that tilt doesn't match that position too well.BigProjectAlone wrote:Finally got the time to try another shot on the Tommy gun so what about this one ??

Here's a few lined renders of a Thompson model I sketched out based on a reference photo with 56 FOV like Doom's sprites (did a lot of math and comparisons to original toys and camera equipment) in various positions that show a similar amount of gun, and several with their dimensions fudged to make the barrel look longer or the body shorter like in your sprite.

A new start
I'll wait for your answer before going into details.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
So, i am still unsure about starting this one for Kriegsland's next update.
It will be a shock rifle. Credits to Archon and jdredalert, if he authorizes me to use his Gauss Cannon as a base.
EDIT: Forgot to give credits to TiberiumSoul for the muzzle break.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Well, i haven't seen anyone using F:NV gauss rifle for the mod so far... I think it's good.
