It's very hard to understand what I'm looking at, there's too much contrast on the individual stones or lumps and nothing to define the main shape.

Isn't it possible to make the monster itself be a sprite and the flames around it a separate effect
That way it would also allow transparency on the flames

I believe that will cause problems depending on the angle of the sprite. It'll look weird.

also, on the red dalek sprites i talked about earlier, theyr'e finally in. the only thing that I'm currently working on is the death animation. (which I'm a few frames from finishing.
took me about 4 days.
next up, a preview of the Stealth Cyberman.
and my so far attempt at doing something with the darth vader sprites that were suggested for me...
doing animations, and side, rear-side, and back frames are going to be a challenge, so I may need some assistance.
(keep in mind, this is supposed to replace the Revenant sprites... check out the darth vader wad from D.W. IDGames for info.) the lightsaber was fairly easy, but everything else, well...

Mashed together a few sprites I found from Realm667, 1 silencer from 1 sprite in the carnival (can't remember which, i just found an abandon sprite sheet in my sprite resources folder) and some sleeved hand weapon sprites forum page.

i have neither have interest nor a fan of Doctor Who, but this dalek sprite's kind of cool.
