This model's just for tests, so i didn't take too much care with sizes and stuff.

True that, but still the centered gun looks really nice. Angled weapons doesn't have the Doom feeling. When I'm playing mod /whatever/ and it has angled weapons, its reminds me of Blood/D3D rather than Doom. Thats why I liked BD so much. It conserved centered weapons. Conserved the Doom feeling. :mrgreen:

The game version's fire is kind of pallete-fucked though, due to being shoved into the Doom pallete. Player sprites, yo...

Same here, but I like centered sprites too.

I think the weapon has more personality with the tall railings, kinda like Josuke's pompadour in JJBA.

That may be, but when things are done more realistically in Doom, I feel more immersed in the game.

@HazeBandicoot: if those are meant to go in a doom mod you may want to squash them vertically so that the pixel ratio works out, otherwise they'll end up looking too tall in game. If that isn't what you'll use them for then I can be safely ignored.

Don't worry, the 20% ratio thing is engraved on my brain, so when i get around to actually making a mod i'll be sure to either squash them in an image editor or use TEXTURES to force squared pixels.
