Here are some shitty chaingun frankensprites. The bottom part is from the Realm667 nailgun MG. The top is the vanilla chaingun darkened a bit.

Not too proud of these really.

Man, that's awesome.

What is your ultimate goal with all of these Wolf sprites?

Hmm, this might be a better hud sprite for the DoomRL Arsenal's Burst Chaingun, since the hud sprite for the burst chaingun is still a normal chaingun

Mostly just for fun since they're simple to make. I do make some doom sprites as well.

Inspired by a recent post in the Request thread - with a splash of colour I made a Wolfenstein NKVD officer.

Dug up one of Enjay's early drafts for the player crouch sprites before it was all hunched over, and decided to take a go at Zombieman-ifying it

All the recolouring is just being done using "Color" blending mode layers so it should be pretty easy to Shotgun Guy-ify it (or whatever other Possessed I wanna do) once the initial work is done.

Huh, had never seen that pose. I like it a LOT more than the weirdly unnatural position the Marine squeezes himself into normally. How far did he get on those crouch sprites?

I think the weird crouch is a consequence of trying to squeeze the sprite into half the height (~28 pixels). These upright sprites would suffer a minor version of the Revenant Problem. The hilariousw moving frames may pretty much inexcusable though. :P

Grab the zip at the bottom of the page.

I also prefer them, and have no idea why the current ones won out.

Probably because those go like 15 pixels above the hitbox's actual height.

Which, when we're talking about a height of 28, is a pretty big issue. That's a little over 50% of the sprite that's just flat-out no part of the hitbox!
