Suggestions?
Needs more specular highlights. (because they're very important)

I was thinking of more soft specular sparkly-sparks.

(though i do like how the top row of the teeth turned out on your end)

Oh and do not ever use absolute colors for anything. They look really ugly and the fact that they have a very ugly brightness cap does not help.
Here's an example from Doom:

I think red might work better. That is an awesome weapon Sprite!

This is just to get back into the groove of things. I like magnums and shotguns a lot. They pack a crisp punch. Made a Sidekick pickup for you Blazers, a hand held auto shotgun based on the Mauler from the Halo series, and a bullpup Eriance shotgun (or an Octavian rifle, or RailGunner's Hunter rifle, or an NSMS Uplift rifle, if you want).

Specular sparkly-sparks require painting, these are just raw 3d renders.
I use the horrible horrible green just for testing, I will change it fortunately.
PS. Your edits do make a huge difference, but please, wait for the final renders :D

Well, make sure to nudge the light source a bit to the left.
And if you're feeling very fancy you could also add another light coming from the far right (contrary to the central-left of the main light) that is pretty purple.

Looks already interesting, but... you know, would be better to do that skull a bit darker, plus make orange shine (or even pink, but that's for lulz).
