For the sake of putting the thread back on topic, I'll reply to via PM. I'll just say here that you make several good points, but the image of an Imperial Commando you've posted is actually from the Wii/PS2/PSP versions of the Force Unleashed.Galaxy_Stranger wrote: And, according to the new Battlefront game - THESE are Imperial Commandos!Spoiler:It could be that the ones we see in the movies are in their regular uniforms, whereas they are armored only when deployed. Makes sense.

Tried to make a burning human death. Since it was an archon of hell death, the feet look all big and funny.

That's how the legs were on the original Archon of Hell/Hellstorm Archon death, so I didn't change them.Captain J wrote:yet lets are bent in wrong direction.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
plus when the body is being burnt to the bone like that all the connective tissues are going with it so the legs could bend like that

so if it cannot be handled easily, i think it might be useful for satyr or any small goatmen based enemies!Carbine Dioxide wrote:Tried to make a burning human death. Since it was an archon of hell death, the feet look all big and funny.

If it was used for a zombie or humanoid monster, you could imagine the knees are just bent inwards from the collapse.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Ligaments from corpses are definitely weaker but they're still strong enough to be used in transplants when an ACL tears. There's also only one muscle used for moving the lower leg forward below the knee, the rectus femoris (it rectifies the leg and is on top of the femur), but there are several dedicated to pulling it back. It would also have to char the insides very fast so that the ligament would break before the muscles contract which results in the legs collapsing in a more natural movement.
Of course we can argue about anatomy all day, but the fact remains that this is an animation intended to be a human with backwards legs so it immediately doesn't look right.

We're in trouble if they somehow figure out how to shoot green fire out of their gun.
