The barrel still looks bent to me. If it's technically correct, vanishing point and such, then something with the shading or contrast must be causing it

yeah, that's absolutely figures. hope anyone or carbine himself fix that problem somehow, than we can talk about rest of sprites such as reloading and cylinder spinning.Arctangent wrote:vanishing point and such, then something with the shading or contrast must be causing it

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
The thing is that I showed it to ya at early days when DN kicked in to help me with the project to show you how we were going, rather to just give out the spoils - I probably wouldn't use it in the GC, after all, but I was quite tempted to make usage of it somewhere else as a little connector, considering that's a very specific kind of revolver. No matter - I am lenient all the time these days (as I am mentally too worn out to be making a fuss out of such things), so I guess if Doom's gonna be okay with that, you're free to take it.TheRailgunner wrote:I thought I had gotten permission to use it via PM, but alas, I can't find the message. I've removed the image link for now, but I managed to put together a firing frame and a perspective correction for the cylinder well. Gonna work on a smexy reload and iron sights next.
The thing is that the barrel has extremely high contrast while the clip and the rest of the revolver is much more mild, compared to it. Just my two cents while I'm at it.Carbine Dioxide wrote:Bigger cylinder for bigger bullets... or shells.

Hay, heads up to everyone drawing these great looking weapons lately... we REALLY need to work on accurate perspectives. I know we want to see the detail on the weapon, but we're showing TOO much of the sides. We need to be centering the weapon more so it doesn't loo like the gun is being fired to to my left.

WHOA, they are sure amazing. since i can see that it's your recent sprite or adjusting work i ever seen! but we might do something about black or very dark outlines at bright shades.
oh, also i bet carbine's revolver's cylinder is intentionally longer because it uses higher caliber magnum rounds.

It was based off of Doom Nukem's Circuit Judge, so I figured that's what I was gonna make it. Gonna use .410 Bore shells, but it could use .45 colt as well. I guess the cylinder should be smaller though.
Messed with the barrel and other stuff.
Now comes in lime flavor!
I think what's making the barrel look crooked is the sights. They were pretty damn crooked when I slapped them on the revolver. At least now they look decent.
