Sure, go ahead. However, I may release a 'basic' version of the sprite sheet at first (which I have good progress on), as I planned quite a number of unique attacks for the enemy, which will utilize many different animations. I had asked Ghastly for help creating the Decorate code for it once I completed everything, and I'd hate to back out on such a request! We will see what happens when the time comes.
Ok, i'm pretty skilled in decorate too, just sayin'. I'll have to modify it a bit to to fit in with some effects in my mod. The heretic mod I'm hoping to use it in is Heretic: The Dark Shores of Thoji.

Quasar got sent some more alpha/beta stuff - mostly screenshots of map WIPs, but there was one unseen sprite there.

A discarded enemy idea called "the blob". Obviously based on the Lost Soul. It was recycled as the inside of the Pain Elemental's mouth during its attack.

I had thought about that in the past, but believe it or not, this is actually my first enemy I've ever created for a Doom engine game, so I am not sure how well I would do on new creations. Not to mention I still have to see if this will actually fit during gameplay! It would be interesting though, as I've always had thoughts about participating in a project.
i'm not going to pushing around forever, but you would need to tribute his work with your spriting skills, because your style is like i said, fits with dark fantasy, and 90's capcom's golden aged games. so it does fits with GMOTA; the mod that requires capcom-ish or dark fantasy themed sprites and graphics.

It would be awesome if you also make the fire animation.

Code: Select all

My sprites are free to use. No need to ask me for permission. Just give credits for it. Please credit me as Chronos "phantombeta" Ouroboros. (Wouldn't mind getting the name of the mod it's going to be used in so I can see if it feels used correctly in the mod tho'...)

looks good, but you gotta do something about the reloading animation. magazine grabbbed hand is lacks animations and the magazine need to be have a bullet at the far to the right. if this thing uses ballistic ammo, of course.

I made it like that because I don't like the original that much. I also plan on adding this version into Souls of Black. I am sure it won't be that hard to do yourself, considering you're a great spriter and all.

Credits to who ever made the imp gunner death.

Credits to who ever made the top death of the bottom sheet (I think OSJ made it).

It's a bit of a late reply, just stumbled on this while catching up. The death on the bottom sheet was done/edited by myself (the one with the blood still on teh head) - I think somebody else may have edited it to have a clean head though, I don't quite remember.

Edit: Strange, doesn't appear to show either of the attachments.
I edited the SG death to have a clean head. That's what I did to a few other death sprites too.

so here's the full set.
includes a grip off a luger sprite (sorry cant remember who made that, i'm sure someone will say who) and a duke3d muzzleflash because I thought it matched the sprite rather nicely...

again, although I don't mind, ask the appropriate people for permissions before releasing anything with this in. the pistol, is based off of others work...
