Heh, I like that. The idea of her running around in an evening gown with full make-up and jewellery while kicking ass amuses me greatly.Sprite Noob wrote:

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Well I think that could only happen in haute areas (Opera Houses, Mansions, Fancy/Formal Parties, etc) especially I imagine a horror setting where a group of people are invited to a party in a Wealthy person's manor but it's something not they expected to be (think of Resident Evil, 7th Guest, etc), or something goes wrong during a Opera (like the beginning of Parasite Eve).Enjay wrote:Heh, I like that. Speaking of evening gowns...
Spoiler:Of course I wonder if anyone could make a sprite with a backless and strapless mermaid gown overbust slit leg gown (well especially wearing black boots...) like those pictures which is the ones I would prefer the most...

It's not widescreen in the mod either, but the weapon sprite is moved over enough that it is widescreen friendly.Captain J wrote:what's that screen about? also this weapon seems not much friendly for widescreen behavior, too.
Is the spriting carnival about sprites of goth women now? It's about time.Jinal wrote:Also what about also making a sprite of Death from Sandman or a woman who looks like her (or maybe this could be a variation of the goth woman type)

Yep, well based on the recent Raven sprite, I was thinking of a mod where you play as a Witch whose arsenal consists of spells, magical weapons (mostly from Heretic/Hexen and it's custom made sprites for it) and gothic (well rather Blood) themed guns (sawed off shotguns, revolvers, blunderbusses and blackpower weapons, and also throwing in Blood's Flare Pistol, Tommy Gun and Napalm or rather "Shadow" Gun in the mix) as I posted here in this thread.Uboa wrote:Is the spriting carnival about sprites of goth women now? I am designing some female cultists for The Space Pirate which will definitely fall into "goth gal" territory, haha.

I personally would vote for bomber jacket, if I might be picky.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
whoa, jinal actually made a good point for fashionable sprites even it was started with goth girls first, though. and yes, we would be appreciated if scal can change her cloth into a atomic bombarding girl.
a-nyway;

ww2 knifes just got finished, but only two of them because HaD2 had a two knifes, though. and i'm afraid i think i can't go on with doomized hand edition, the requested screen shots of the weapon models from HaD2 still didn't decreased a lot yet.
and only one real life pic were used on that sprite sheet, others are from HaD2 screen shots that andrew sent me.
so...uboa, are you sure you can keep doing this?
EDIT:

well, that was easy fix. anyway those models are came from same game, too.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Why do people keep adding midriffs? Especially it looks not very accurate to the 2nd picture I've posted.Sprite Noob wrote:I really liked the second one, so I did a take on that.Jinal wrote:Now...I wonder if anyone could make a sprite woman wearing a leather jacket, jeans, ti shirt.

Sorry but it just irritates me when everytime women are in designed wearing trousers/shirts they always have midriffs which is just a cheap way of sexaulizing them.
Okay, I would say go and make a 'variation' that actually looks just like second picture (skeleton hoodie, shirt), with no midriffs.
Also just incase if you ever noticed, all the pictures I've picked were specifics to avoid midriffs yet you did it anyways.
