Heavily edited Halo 4 pistol rips - apparently high quality H4 screenshots don't exist, or at least not on the Internet, so they had to be worked on at a Doom-friendly resolution to restore details. Only the first two firing frames can be made from the idle frame, the others will have to be ripped and edited similarly. Hell, the hands weren't even green originally.

Also, have this (much older) DMR:

Comes with numbers for the ammo counter.

maybe it nostalgia but i like CE the best, bit disappointing with anniversary I kinda wanted a HD version of cortana's CE model. I love the pistol too bad no real world pistol exsists.

Though colt 22 cadet reminds me of it.

Anyone care to Doomify these hands?

(as in, reduce the colours and make it look sprited instead of rendered)

EDIT: Added some improvements as suggested by Minigunner - specular highlights and an under light

(Also, I'm aware of that texture seam between the hand and the arm)

Some more progress on Drac's human form. I'm prioritizing "0" angle sprites since that's the minimum angle needed to establish a decorate thing
dracform1.png
What else is needed
-cape slash (melee attack)
-rush forward (for life steal)
-breakdown into bats (for either teleport or the Bad Moon attack)
-special bats
-demonic megiddo (EoE style)
-pain?
-death (in case I want make a standalone version of this form) and transform into ultimate

How's this?

- got rid of that weird seam
- slightly reduced lightness
- slightly reduced saturation
- added Doom palette
Image
I could make it more saturated, and... less tan or something if you'd like.

Edit: added two more with different palettes

I like the second one the best. :D

Any interest for these hands? If there's enough demand, I'll render them out with various weapon poses to be used as hand templates.

I quite like them. It would definitely be beneficial to all of the fellow modders out there. I wouldn't mind adjusting the palettes and colors and such. :P

Tried taking Ctrl+Alt+Destroy's first recolour further and closer to the standard 320x200 res.

Very nice! Except for the arm hair, I think I should actually add all of that detail (creases in the skin) into the model's texture itself.

What did you do to get the resolution more consistent with Doom? Should I just render the hands further away from the camera so it will come out smaller?

Shrunk it down so that the vertical size is 200 pixels and is closer to a similar Doom fist. Should be rendered with anti-aliasing for fingers and then edit the renders to give it hard edges.
