Welp. Seeing as this has become "The Endless Running Joke Thread", I think I'll ignore it for a while.

What? So far I've only seen 4 or so posts involving running jokes in the past 2 days.NeuralStunner wrote:Welp. Seeing as this has become "The Endless Running Joke Thread", I think I'll ignore it for a while.
EDIT: And that's a tiny fraction

Could somebody edit the blade on these two frames
... to look less like a machete and more like a cavalry saber, like this:

As well as a pickup sprite for it (Doom-sized). You will be credited. Thank you.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
The whole "Bruiser Doom" line (which was interesting for the first few posts of it, then started getting forced), and then a lot of different running jokes over the past two or three weeks. Seriously, look back over the last 10~15 pages.PermaNoob wrote:What? So far I've only seen 4 or so posts involving running jokes in the past 2 days.

Less complaining, more sprite posting. The best way to keep the thread on topic and producing worthwhile content is if you take the first step and produce something yourself.

Awesome, thank you would you like to take a stab (no pun intended) at the HUD frames as well? I know it'll take longer.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
(oops, double post)
Converted it to the Doom palette and made some improvements to it, the handle turned out fine but not so much for the actual blade.

Thanks for this, I'll get working on it shortly.The_Funktasm wrote:Yeah, I know. I meant that I have to put a bunch of random bits together, not that I had to do it myself. Didn't mean for it to sound like that.EDIT: Checked ingame and it's not hideous. Good.

I'm not sure we need scallDoom on top of everything else. The Thing Thing wrote:we should definitely make scalliano's avatar the mascot for the spriting carnival
and maybe dedicate a mod to that avatar
Besides, Cruduxy had a better idea over on the Zandro Carnival

Slapped this together, does not have a name yet, just called painabus for now i guess. It didnt quite turn out how i wanted, and still need a bit of polish work, but as is for now. Some of the fames are quite fubar'd and i might not fix them, someone else might try a crack at it.
