No, I'm sorry... I had been referring to the magic sprite and should've been more clear. Still good though. I can use it to make other firing frames. On a side note, that looks even better than I thought it would as an Ethereal, and the hands add to the creepy factor rather than subtract like I worried.

Oh, okay. I guess I can try doing that in a bit.

EDIT: Image
Here are the pain(?) frames.

good work, now what do you want about kind of death frames? just lying down or exploding like a original hexen?

Hopefully, just falling down. IIRC, D'Sparil had some pretty good frames like that and I might be able to adapt those to this.

EDIT: Image
It's been slow and rough. I had to do some from-scratch work on the bottom-left frames. The last frames could use some work, especially with the light. I could do that if you want.

No, that looks perfect. It's a very mysterious light pattern that I can work with to emphasize. I think it looks great. As far as death animations, anything that doesn't involve total obliteration is fine. In a while I'll have the magic up the way I was thinking would look cool.

Unfortunately the effect I thought of was tougher than I thought it'd be. I settled with this.

1 or 2 more frames and I'll have the death animation done. Bishop-fying D'Sparil's death animation is not easy.

EDIT: Image
I tried to make it somewhat close to the original games. The arms probably shouldn't be shown, but I don't think it matters too much. That death animation was a pain to make, and I'm lazy. Hope you like it.

I love it. I really appreciate having a full set of sprites to use, in fact, it'll be the first real alien I have to work with. You did an awesome job on it.

Thanks, that means a lot. If you need anything else done to it, let me know.

Also, on another side-note, I have all of the X-COM sounds in a single MP3 file. Dunno if that'd help. (It might also help to get a topic up.)
