That's really well done. The only comment I have is the scope graphics ignore the 1:1.2 aspect ratio scaling done by the Doom engine - which makes the targeting system look elongated and oblong.MyNameIs wrote:a "widow's kiss" weapon from owerwatch

I did this Cyber-Mancubus just for fun in my free time weeks ago, I will probably change the green skin for the normal orange mancubus.

Someone (kinsie?) sent me a screenshot of the centered Grenade Launcher from Doom 4.

Not a big fan of the armor's outlines, but it looks cool nonetheless!Exeor wrote:I did this Cyber-Mancubus just for fun in my free time weeks ago, I will probably change the green skin for the normal orange mancubus.
And you just improved it real nicely!Sgt. Shivers wrote:

that's gonna be very difficult for me, with all that crazy mechanics, like genji's bullet reflection or widow's grappling hook.skyrish10 wrote:i wish there would be a gameplay mod based on this...
i've made tracer and d'va a while ago though. (except sprites are bad)

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Genji's reflection will be easier with ZScript. I am not sure whether or not +REFLECTIVE has been ZScriptified yet, or not, but if it has, then it would be quite easy to change it to reflect directly towards the player's crosshair.
The grappling hook will be a bit of a challenge, yes, but I don't think it will be too bad. I remember back in 2010 or so I was helping with Paranoid and managed to get somewhat of a system working for an actual latching barnacle. Unfortunately I never finished it, as it was getting too complicated and I was not able to customize it within the restrictions of the ZDoom engine at the time (which I think now, is much more flexible).
I see you managed to get rewind working for Tracer - I am curious how you did that, though - do you track the player's movements and store them in an array or something?

it's a very dumb and long script, which
Spoiler:i really believe that it's possible to do that better.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
That is amazing. What I thought you might've done was do something very similar to that via ACS using an array.

It's Better without or less crazy mechanics and make it a simple weapons mod with Doomguy carrying Overwatch weaponsMyNameIs wrote: that's gonna be very difficult for me, with all that crazy mechanics, like genji's bullet reflection or widow's grappling hook.
