If you want to make some new hand sprites, get an image of a shirt

and apply it to hands from another game

Hmm i think there is a quake mod out there somewhere. If there isnt, I'd love to see a nod where there is quake maps, monsters, and weapons (sprites of course)

I think you are reffering to this one: http://zdoom.org/wiki/Quake:_Nexus_Aftermath
A pity this mod was cancelled and the download link is dead.

I like that idea of paying homage to the Quake series in a doom mod with the map style, items, weapons, power ups and, enemies from the 1st one (including mission pack only) to 4 in sprite form, like Eriance's Demon Eclipse pays homage to doom, hertic and hexen.

the colour pretty ruined it, though.

EDIT: without hand's shadows sucks.

Keep crankin' them out, Captain. Those are fantastic. :)

I found some uses for your Sten and PPSH, I'm using them in my next wad. If that's alright.

it is okay, glad to see those graphically awkward sprites actually worked! and OOPS, that ppsh's white pixels from the right is so unintensional also unsuspected.

and here's the latest version, among with more half-less chromas at second frame.

Ahh! Is this based on this concept art? If so, I was totally going to make a version of that as well! But yours is fantastic, mind if I use it as a base?

Also great job with the rest of your sprites, they look pretty damn good!

And here was me sitting in my chair, thinking how amazing Solmyr's archvile would be for the Armageddon archvile replacement in DRLA.

I'd be super grateful if you did end up making this and shared it with me, I've been pretty stumped as to how to make the damn thing.

And here was me sitting in my chair, thinking to how many frames a Vile-type monster could have... And I feel empaty for Solmyr. :P

It's so perfect in its clearness and thickness! Doom pistol is so heavy, and in 20 years had lost all of its poetry! :P
