Kind of a WIP, since I'll need to add some cables connecting the missile launchers with the glass tubes and tweak some pixels in the firing sequence
Spoiler:
Yep, those things on his back are supposed to be glass tubes. Also I restricted myself to the Doom palette for this, that's why he looks kind of weird

did these today:
munge.PNG
duke waterfall re-colours for DooM!
basically I decided to do the water version to replace tnt and pultonia's water texture as I felt the original doom slimefalls look to be designed to represent a viscous-gooey material. this, to me, looked odd when representing water. (plus I just wanted to see how the duke texture looked in tnt  ) then i did the green version for kdizd as the kdizd slimefall looked kinda over-bright. then I noticed that darkening2.wad had another slimefall recolour for the lava but the colour of this did not really match the lava flat all that well so I knocked up a new lava-fall and then at this point I thought, to hell with it, why not do a blood and brown version too! LOL!

feel free to use.

! - a note i'd add is that these textures look less convincing over large areas. for example try the green slime on D2map30 and you'll see what I mean. however, with that in mind, this texture looks great on the slimefalls in kdizd...

many thanks. I just tried the blood-falls out on the bloodfalls map and on the tnt steelworks map and it looks great! so glad I did these now.

*EDIT*
however that said I just had a look through hedrox2.wad and found lava and mud waterfall textures in the original slimefall doom style and these look just as good if not a better colour-match than mine. in fact I'm now using the lava one for darkening2. however when map building I can see no reason not to use both textures. the slimefall versions for slow-moving jollop and my versions for faster liquids?
