Question About Bridge Usage

Question About Bridge Usage

ZDoom is a great mod, let me start. Between ZDoom and GZDoom It's by far the best for modding - and a good engine in general.

But I've discovered a bit of an issue with bridges, and it would be awesome to get it working for one level, which calls for one such construct. I need some help, I even consulted the ZDoom Tutorial Knowledge Base on the main site, and the Wiki.

I got the bridge itself working... except the bridge isn't visible to the player. In Doom Builder I dunno how to make the bridge textured or visible.

For what method I am using: ZDoom Bridge Object w/ 32-unit radius (Doom Builder number 5061), ZDoom 2.1.7

the "Bridge" object dosen't show up. You need to use floating mid textures to make the bridge appear. If you want true 3d, use gzdoom

Yeah, for future reference, the bridge is only a clear Thing that has no gravity, and you can stand on it or go under it much like you could stand on or go under a floating monster.

If it was visible, it would just be a sprite of something and wouldn't look very good.

Unless you make it like they did in Hexen, as a bunch of magical floating particles...
