Re: WHAT THE HELL are you working on
That's really good! I like how you used the Strife textures in a structure you didn't normally see much in Strife. I didn't think Strife could do church like structures well, but then again, the Order was a cult. :)

Re: WHAT THE HELL are you working on
I agree about the Disinter Cannon needing better graphics for the particle effects. The current one is just meh. I don't know what to suggest though... maybe one that animates smoother? Or small particles maybe? CT's suggestion of making the particles have smoother alpha gradients would help too.
Strife speedmap looks good too. Good work on the arches. Are those 3-d floors or stacked sectors?

Re: WHAT THE HELL are you working on
You should really think about releasing those speedmaps. The shots look wonderful and, as others have mentioned, show a style not unusually found with Strife. It might even inspire more Strife mapping, and Strife needs all the help it can get in that regard.

Re: WHAT THE HELL are you working on

heres an older one, they are both DeathMatch maps since those are small, fast and easy to make, in that pic we are deathmatching in it, note the high ammount of scorces.

heres a download for those who want to test the map.
also, DAMN Strife Deathmatch is FUN!

Re: WHAT THE HELL are you working on
Blade, the trail should disapear sooner and be the same colour as the main projectile IMO.
Also, maybe recolour the orange weapon parts white so they fit in with the other Strife weapons better?
Icytux, the maps look great, but I'm not a fan of Strife Deathmatch, I've tried it a few times and I found the inventory system too awkward and fiddly and the weapons kind of unsatisfying and unbalanced

Re: WHAT THE HELL are you working on
It is essentially the same color - however, the alpha values are different, and the trails use a different sprite than the main projectile.

The only thing I'd suggest changing is the hand as it's holding the wrong part of the grip. The part the hand is currently holding onto is the grip guard, which goes in front of the hand.

Something which I call GZMBF.
Basically adding MBF features to GZDoom. Most of them work.
The two largest issues remaining are transforming MBF's dehacked parameters (ugh) and finding out how to concile the full extent of MBF's FRIEND features with ZDoom's architecture.

Nice looking Strife map icy. I played Strife DM a while ago and it was pretty hectic (not as crazy as hexen though)

Re: WHAT THE HELL are you working on
you kind of have a point, but only when talking about the weak weapons, strife Dm is only fun if you play with the Sigil, Mauler, Grenade launcher, Poison Arrows and RLCaptainToenail wrote:Icytux, the maps look great, but I'm not a fan of Strife Deathmatch, I've tried it a few times and I found the inventory system too awkward and fiddly and the weapons kind of unsatisfying and unbalanced

and you can almost say putting some diffrent ammo types in the map is like giving the player a new weapon, lets say those flame nades for the grenade launcher (which needs fixing for atleast skulltag DM. Since the fire cant who shot them, so getting killed by the fire is like suicide, so making a custom projectile using A_SPawnitem ex would work)
