I give you, Trail number 4.

Now I have 2 more different ways on mind if this belongs into failtronic disposal.
Top: my base of the scope
Bottom: small edit of that base.
*edit* i see the top side of the grey area...yea needs a bit trip there

One reason why the scope looks off is because your Shading's orientation doesn't match the scope's own orientation. The light highlighted area should be parallel to the scope; going to the same vanishing point. In your case it doesn't. Some back lighting will also help. :)

I'm considering opening a thread in Editing on creative weapons problems. It involves participants thinking outside the box to solve a couple of problems and hopefully expand and increase their DECORATE repertoire. Who would be interested in such a thread?

Nah, I mean creative stuff like "build a weapon compatible with the Tome of Power without using sisterweapon".

If I had more time on my hands, I'd be interested in such a thread, DoomRater. That'd allow me to catch up to all the newer features and it'd be a fun side-thing to do.

I might be interested. I came up with a cool shotgun idea. Yup another shotgun. Can't have too many of those.

Or can we?

That sounds like it could be fun, doomrater. Like you said, it could help people brush up on their skills, and maybe some budding DECORATE users can learn from what others make.
