Re: The WIP Thread
Ah finally, someone is porting SRB2 to GZDoom. Oh, is that not what you're doing?

Re: The WIP Thread
This actually looks serious kinsie, where are all the humor and jokes? Are you going through an edgy phase?
(asides for that texture, which will probably not be in the final release right?)
/s (because sarchasm though text is hard)

Re: The WIP Thread
I'm using a different set of inspirations than "usual" with this project, leaning a bit more on atmosphere and Marathon-style storytelling instead of jokey jokes. There'll almost certainly be bouts of me being back on my bullshit, but they'll probably be hidden away in secrets.insightguy wrote:This actually looks serious kinsie, where are all the humor and jokes? I mean, assuming this gets finished. Probably unlikely. We'll see what happens!

Re: The WIP Thread
Surprisingly easier to set up than I thought they'd be now that you can define slopes directly in UDMF instead of using [wiki]Plane_Align[/wiki] and prayer.comet1337 wrote:3d slopes? you madman!

Looks nice and easy, alright! And i'm sure we can see even more 3D Slopes after this.

There is nothing wrong with dark. Nothing at all.
A map I've been working on since the last 1.5 Weeks.
Maybe that's too dark...?
If you play this map with music, you currently hear Parallel Dimensions from Quake. Excellent if something needs to be unnerving yet not exactly panicking.
There are many more areas which do not have enough detail yet, and the sector-brightnesses are not correct in many sectors. But it is getting there.
