Progress! Weapons fire when selected separately. Still needs work but you can now selectively barrage your enemies with bullets, shells, rockets, plasma, or all together at the same time!.

I am of course referring to both HotWax and his chaingun sniping argument, and the MechWarrior community opinion on using chain fire techniques to lock out an opponent from returning fire. (Neither of which really apply here)
