[Complete] The Ghoul's Forest 3

Projects that have specifically been abandoned or considered "dead" get moved here, so people will quit bumping them. If your project has wound up here and it should not be, contact a moderator to have it moved back to the land of the living.

Only if they're zombie bears with spider legs! :P

Naw I won't be doing any more forests, they're too hard to please people. I'll be doing something indoor and cramped. I shared some ideas in the Wads you want to make thread. One I really want to do is a ghost ship, which has arcade style gameplay but a horror theme.

It's co-op wad. You're weaponless and can only run through an obstacle course.

You don't have to out-run the bear, just your friend. :P

You know, if you do decide to do another Ghoul mod someday, how about ripping a page from Silent Hill and putting it in a hospital? Yuri from Ghoul 3 was like something you would see in a japanese horror movie, so it wouldn't be a hard fit.

Yeah, you should try doing something more structured next time, with timed events and a plot or something. A true Horror wad, rather than just for scares.

A Jedi Knight mod? Heh! That would be pretty interesting to see.

I like how his entire post consists of "I need professional ________ to do [everything] for me". Silly kids not understanding that "team leader" means that you do most of the work, not that you sit around on your ass expecting people to jump up and volunteer their time for you.

I've actually started working on porting Ghouls Forest 3 to Left 4 Dead but I need some help with it. I need professional scripters professional mappers, professional monster coders and someone to bring me doritos while I yell at everyone for slacking. Making mods is extremely expensive too so I need as many donations as I can get. If you each donate about $45, I might be able to get this project off the ground provided I get some team members to make help me make the mod. It might help too if you click as many pop ups on my site too.

Oh yeah, if you look at this particular person's work, you'll see that he only has one other project, which never got off the ground either. He's got a couple of models and voices for the storm troopers, but that's it.

I believe that making a L4D mod that replaced the Boss Infected with ghouls would be magnificent. But that's beside the point. I'm sending my $45 now, call it an international partnership!

Thanks! Counting your donation I have received around $25945! Unfortunately, due to limitations in the L4D code source, hard drive AI, as well as problems with the server mainframe the project is canceled. Due to problems with the IP protocols I will not be able to send your donations back to you. I say this with a heavy heart, a bottle of french wine, and a couple of extremely expensive hookers.
