Projects that have specifically been abandoned or considered "dead" get moved here, so people will quit bumping them. If your project has wound up here and it should not be, contact a moderator to have it moved back to the land of the living.
You can also try building the nodes outside of DB. As far as I know, it's just really gay with nodebuilders. There is, most likely, nothing wrong with your map.
Is ZDBSP just crashing? It hates unused sectors. Switch the nodebuilder to ZenNode, build nodes, and if its that you should see a warning about unused sectors being removed. Save and then you can switch back to ZDBSP just fine.
Cool trees, but i've grown fond of the lego ones now especially since i've given them hi-res textures.
Anyway, anyone care to give me instructions on building the nodes without DB? I can't even load the map in Wadauthor now i've pasted all the trees about (yet the map still runs fine).

Did you try using ZDBSP on the command line just yet? You can run it without arguments to get instructions.
The thing with DB is that it pretty much can't build nodes unless your map is exactly perfect. Which means that it can rarely build nodes once you've done a large-ish map. Command lining ZDBSP always solves that problem for me though.
