Yeah, the overlord is just kind of a big, fancier Caco Demon, and after the Hades Elemental, the big baddie needs to be pretty crazy lookin'.Rone Kyakone wrote:The Overlord and Vulgar look especially badass. I seriously cannot wait to see them. I'm going to vote for no arms on the Overlord, though.
EDIT: Actually, now that I think about it, it might be neat if it (or some other caco-variant) had four or six arms.
EDIT: Maybe, since the Overlord is so big, it could have some odd number of legs, and actually walk. Maybe even have a charge attack, ala the Maulator, or stomp attacks like the Makron in Quake 4.

I wasn't saying the sprite should be changed like that. I was saying that if it's too hard to script the watcher's eye popping out, you could simulate the eye popping out by drawing it into the death frames, like the cacodemon or the Cleric and Mage classes.Eriance wrote:@Anakin S.: The difference between the Watcher and the other monster is that those are humanoid. Also, their head is on top of their body instead of in the middle (as with the eye). I see no reason to change the sprite as it is now.
