Set Player Sprite

Post by blender81 »

Is there a way for ACS to set and change the player sprite? Judging from past posts, it seems the answer is no. If that's the case - has anyone found a workaround of some sort?

Thanks!

No, but Skulltag is supposed to have a function that will make console commands.

The console command to change the player skin is "skin <skin_name>".

One thing you can also do is use a custom .cfg file that binds keystrokes to certain commands that change the player skin and rebinds the key each time it's hit.

If you use a separate config file, will it save it's settings to the autoexec.cfg?

Then the settings won't save it and it won't piss the players off.

No, it will save in you skulltag configuration, which means the settings will still be the same when you hop back on skulltag

No, that’s a different file altogether, it saves to skulltag-(name).ini

autoexec is used to execute commands, not config

I don't know why I got that mixed up - i used to fuck with them for keybinding purposes all the time. Somewhere along the line, i got it in my head that it was the entire configuration.
