Re: ZDoom 2.1.0
Hey Randy, can I have a peice of SVN for ZDL?Graf Zahl wrote:All he'd need to do is create a new subdirectory and give you access.Bio Hazard wrote:Maybe Randy will let me have a peice of SVN for it? [ZDL]
Actually I'm serious. It would make development a lot easier.

Doesn't work for me (SuSE 10 in KDE).Hirogen2 wrote:i586 rpm package compiled with libstdc++.so.6, libFLAC++.so.5, libFLAC.so.7, proper fmod is included. Just `ln -s /C/doom/doom2.wad /usr/share/zdoom/` and you are set.

Can you elaborate on that? Do you run SUSE Linux 10.0 or 10.1? Running it from an xterm might produce valuable error messages.TheDarkArchon wrote:Doesn't work for me (SuSE 10 in KDE).Hirogen2 wrote:i586 rpm package compiled with libstdc++.so.6, libFLAC++.so.5, libFLAC.so.7, proper fmod is included. Wow, glad I decided to check the site for what must be the first time in months
I can finally get rid of (at least some of) my different versions of ZDoom when I get home- I have about 3 or 4 (plus GZDoom)- I think it's the last official version, 0.96x for the custom weapons etc, and the version recommended for playing Strife with
. Plus, I think, one more unofficial build called ZDuck, mainly for a single WAD (I think it was Enjays- it's a D-Day assault type of map). That'll be a relief, and make my bloated Doom directory that much tidier
Big thanks to Randy, Graf, Grubber, and everyone else involved
