So, is polymost and floating point in the next release? or have the plans changed?
No, they are not. Polymost is sort of in, but not yet in a form suitable for any real use.

You have to wait for that so that some old DECORATE functionality has a chance to be deprecated before it's totally removed.

Ah, so some of the old stuff still has to be removed before we can use custom states and all that cool stuff?

Which means a lot of released weapon mods are going to have to be updated?

Praise the programmer!!one
On another note, is the Decorate totally functional? Can I just take a Community Build mod and play?
Thanks ahead of time!

Uh oh... if most of the DECORATE changes get tossed out the window, that means a complete reworking of Zen... again. >_<

But no matter, let us all rejoice, as the fabled Zdoom 2.1 has finally arrived! Or some such! :P

Any way to compile this on x86_64 linux? If not, can someone (Chris) upload the 32-bit binary somewhere so I can download it?

Cool new decorate features. Hmm so like once custom state DECORATE features will be added and the old deprecated code removed wads using the old DECORATE will no longer be playable with the latest version of zdomm?

GG on the new release.

Probably not. 2.1.0 will print a warning if it encounters the deprecated syntax so it's easy to check for.

Basically it's the original state assignment commands like:

'Spawn Parent See'

or

'Melee 0'

that will be removed. But so far I haven't seen them used much - if at all.

Should I write an ebuild script with this version? Is it anywhere near stable? SVN 199 seems to be pretty stable if you don't mess up the sonud system.
