
The apocalypse. Again. For the fourth time, already.
POSTAL: RWC is a mod inspired by Postal Redux/Postal 2, where you play as The Postal Dude, and use an assortment of strange weapons and powerups to fight off whatever new threat coming to destroy your idyllic life in your beloved shithouse trailer, as usual.
Spoiler: The Weapons:
Scythe: Longer range than the shovel, attacks in an arc.
Zoom throws it, slicing through anything in it's path.
Shovel: Your trusty shovel. Looks a little different, but it works all the same.
Relatively powerful melee weapon, useful to smack low-rank goons around.
Pistol: A pistol. Nothing else to it. Shoots slow, deals somewhat decent damage.
Pretty accurate. Should serve you right while you don't find anything else.
Revolver: Powerful and accurate, but slow. Kinda like a long-range shotgun.
Uses it's own ammo supply.
Shotgun: Fires a spread of 7 bullets. Good for taking down stronger enemies.
shoots slower, but packs a punch in close-to-medium range.
Spray Cannon: A full auto beast.
The Spray Cannon is a Shotgun on steroids, firing powerful full auto pellet clouds that demolish most enemies at close range, but loses accuracy quickly.
SMG: An improvement over your pistol, the SMG fires way faster than your pistol.
It's accuracy is somewhat lacking, however.
Scissors: The throwable scissors are dead silent, ricochet off the walls, deal slightly more damage than the SMG, but have a slower throwing speed.
Rocket Launcher: It's a rocket launcher.
Significantly stronger and faster than vanilla, however the missiles have a slow start before speeding up.
M60: Faster rate of fire than your SMG, stronger bullets, requires it's own ammo supply.
Technically your plasma rifle replacement.
Flamethrower: Aerosol meets lighter.
Fires an overwhelming jet of flames that melt anything in it's path. Fun as all hell.
Napalm Launcher: Shoots a bouncy napalm canister that leaves trails of napalm with every bounce, before exploding in a wide arc of flames and death. Powerful stuff. Perfect for weed removal.
Diseased Cow Head: Nasty.
Shoots out lingering clouds of rot/anthrax.
Piss: Piss. Stuns enemies. Can be powered up by Vitamin X.
Spoiler: The Grenades:
Now, you may be asking "What does the altfire do?"
And the answer is: It throws grenades.
And you have an assortment of those at hand.
Grenade: Vanilla grenade. You throw it, it hits the floor, it explodes. Simple.
Dynamite: Bounces way more than the grenade. Useful for catching enemies around corners, or in places bullets can't get to.
Mine: Lay it on the floor, and wait for some schmuck to step on it.
Bouncing Betty: Lay it on the floor, and take cover, because this one jumps into the air and fires a spread of bullets at everyone around it, including you.
Timed Mine: You lay it down, it explodes after five beeps.
Molotov: Napalm Launcher on a budget. You throw it, it explodes on the floor, laying a spread of flames at anyone dumb enough to stand around it.
