So um does anyone know how to setup RetroPi over Raspbian?
So um does anyone know how to setup RetroPi over Raspbian?
I keep getting a message about how I need to install stretch and it is getting annoying. All I want is ZDoom on a Pi!

Step 1, chill.
Step 2, I'm pretty sure Stretch is an interface for Raspberry Pi. Why can't you just install it?

Just follow the instructions on RetroPie's website.
Quick guide:
1. Download the RetroPie image for Raspberry Pi.
2. Use Rufus or Win32DiskImager to create a bootable SD card for the Pi.
3. Follow the installation.
Alternatively, install NOOBS on an SD card and boot it up on your Pi. Then you can download the latest RetroPie image and install it.
EDIT: If you are coming from Raspbian Jessie, you should start with a fresh install. There are problems apparently upgrading from Jessie to Stretch.
