If I quit Firefox and restart it, I can visit forum pages again, and I can even visit the thread where I made the post. The post is always successful (i.e. whatever I posted is now added to the thread where I posted it). It's just that for some reason, posting confuses Firefox when it first tries to load the page with the newly added post.
It doesn't happen all of the time, and I have yet to figure out any common factor at play here, but it happens often enough to be annoying (especially as it means I have to exit Firefox and thereby close any other tabs I might have open).
I don't know if it's related or not, but I still sometimes get a 502 error on the forum (I reported this a while back). To clear that, I just have to hit F5 until the page loads properly, but I estimate that it happens with a similar level of frequency to the "Secure Connection Failed" error, so I was wondering if they might be related? e.g. perhaps if when posting something new, whatever causes the 502 happens, but because it coincides with a new post, it causes the "Secure Connection Failed" error instead? Or maybe that's a complete red herring.
