I can't for the life of me make blood decals-- while still being shaded by BloodDefault (so that they may use BloodColor)-- become more opaque/less transparent, even though I remade them in my mod to not have soft edges (bleurgh) and to use all-or-nothing transparency, they still come up on the walls very faint.
I obviously don't understand how decals work because putting translucent (or add) 0.75 or so in new blood decal definitions only makes them go silver (but use a nicer amount of transparency,) rather than use that nice transparency AND keep the correct colour.
It would feel extremely iffy to make three separate sets of decals for the blue, green and red bloods seen in my mod. But it looks like the hideous faint transparency for "dynamically-coloured" blood decals is hard-coded... so what am I to do!??!
How do I make BloodColor-obedient blood decals more opaque?

I didn't know decals can obey BloodColor now; when was this implemented?
