Download (OpenGLES 2.0 and higher for hardware rendering, Direct3D 9 or later for software rendering) Highlights:
  • Fixes a few bugs that were overlooked in 4.8.1

Details
  • fixed names for A_PlaySoundEx
  • ENDOOM is not Windows only anymore.
  • fixed background tiling for summary screen.
  • text update that was missed in 4.8.1
  • add a few maps to the rebuildnodes compatibility block
  • Fix FVector to Vector comparison

Thank you for the quick fix to these issues!

Is the "rebuildnodes compatibility block" something that forces node rebuilding on maps that are known to have bugs, or the other way round, forces not rebuilding nodes on maps that rely on buggy nodebuilding to function properly? Just clarifying to see which kind of maps to report if I see problems.

Got it thanks. I know of a couple that I've noticed recently that I don't think are fixed (at least I don't see them in compatibility.txt in gzdoom.pl3). I'm guessing the place to post these is the "maps that need compatibility settings" thread, please let me know if that's not the case.

Either that or post a bug report with the map hashes you get with the 'mapchecksum' CCMD.
