Lots of things nobodies heard of:
Urban Assault (1998)
T-MEK for MS-DOS (1994-5)
Heli-Jeep! by PLBM Games (also for MS-DOS)
The Rex Blade Trilogy (MS-DOS 1995)
Starsiege
Starsiege: Tribes (Mostly just for the RPG Mod)
RECOIL (Zipper Interactive - 1998)
Quake (usually with the FvF mod over at the FVFOnline Server that Gunter masterminded, not the Bethesda/NightDive re-release)
Expendable
Incoming! (along with "Expendable", they're two games from Rage Software, known for pushing graphics at the time)
Privateer 2: The Darkening
Wing Commander: Privateer
Freelancer
Spectre VR (MS-DOS floppy disk release)
Scorched Earth (the final, final version also MS-DOS)
Scorched Planet (unrelated game by Criterion)
Archimedian Dynasty
Z.A.R. (Zone of Artificial Resources)

Those who know me elsewhere are probably aware of my weird fascination with solitaire games and golf simulators, but really, my tastes fly pretty much everywhere. Lately I've been flipping between Deep Rock Galactic and Sniper Elite 4, but occasionally also dipping into stuff like Dicey Dungeons, CrossCode, Receiver, and the boring-on-purpose stuff like Power Wash Simulator and House Flipper.

Other Doom Engine games, Quake 1,2, Build Engine games, Stalker series, some so-called "clickers".

Re: What games do you play other than Doom?
Other than Doom and Doom-engined games, in no particular order, the games that are currently likely to be played by me are:
Thief 1&2
MoHAA
Duke Nulkem3D
Wolfenstein 3D
Unreal Tournament (UT99)
Blood
Eye of the Beholder 1 & 2 (and occasionally 3)
Quake & Quake 2
Red Faction
Blake Stone
No Man's Sky (but getting bored of that one)
Minecraft
Syndicate
System Shock 2
The Outer worlds
The Witcher 3
Cyberpunk 2077
Lots of others too, of course, but the ones above are games that I keep coming back to and have played right through several times. I realise that a couple of them are quite new, but I have played them a lot, and expect to continue to do so, so they count.
I also sometimes fire up Heavy Metal FAKK2 and Daikatana as guilty pleasures. I have completed Heavy Metal FAKK2 several times but I am still on my first play through of Daikatana. Every few months I fire it up, play it for a bit but it's a hard slog. I really have to be in the mood for it. Sometimes it's fun but often it isn't.

Re: What games do you play other than Doom?
To start off with something that isn't a FPS - I'm fond of playing Mini Motorways. It's a simple but addictive game where you route cars to and from businesses using a myriad of streets, roundabouts, traffic lights and, of course, motorways. I like it better than it's predecessor, Mini Metro. I couldn't figure that one out.
On the FPS front though - I've also been playing Halo more. I wasn't a big fan of it, but it's definitely growing on me. Of course, the build engine trinity is something I play often.
I sometimes play Civilization V or VI, depending on my mood. I remember now I have a match to finish with my friend Austin. Just been kind of busy :<
A friend recently gifted me Mordhau (sp?), a medieval first person combat game focused on more accurate swordplay (and other weapons too). I'm gonna give it a try later, looks fun (but a bit difficult)

Re: What games do you play other than Doom?
- Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2010 - Remastered: It's just like I remember it, Criterion's effort at bringing the NFS franchise back to what it ought to be, with exotic European supercars on scenic open roads. Still just as good as ever.
- Skydrift Infinity: An obscure choice, but a very fun one if you're into arcade flight games. Think Blur crossed with Crimson Skies and you're not far off. Very fast and intense.
- Warhammer 40K: Space Marine: It's a shame that the sequel isn't going to have Mark Strong return to voice Titus; it just won't sound right without him, I fear. Still, this game's got great atmosphere and gloriously intense action.
- Dogfight 1942: Pretty much the absolute most arcade you can make a flight game without making it an After Burner clone, with large numbers of enemies and insanely fast action. You'll even score better for stringing together multiple kills in rapid succession!
- Sky Rogue: A very fun arcade flight game with a low-poly aesthetic and nearly endless modding potential. It may be based around the "rogue-lite" model with perma-death while allowing you to unlock new gear every time you die; but there's plenty of room for experimentation to find what suits you.

Actually, now that I remember, I'd been getting back into the old Westwood Studios Blade Runner point and click. It's a cracking game, a leader of its type IMO, and it plays really quite nicely through ScummVM. Available on GOG for anyone interested.

When I was younger I used to play a lot of multiplayer with my colleagues from work, but nowadays I devote my time to just mapping and, when mapper's block sets in, I relax playing Virtual Pool 4.

Re: What games do you play other than Doom?
Not much really.
-Destiny 2 (I love being an angry magical spess man that punches all the things)
-No Man's Sky (less angry spess man exploring the cosmos)
-Guild Wars 2 (currently taking a break from it but I also have an angry spess man in it along with 40+ sharkrats)
-Prodeus (angry spess man shooting Eldritch abominations(?) (still not really sure what to classify Prodeus's monsters ))

Re: What games do you play other than Doom?
Most things, really, with a proclivity towards arcade-style games and their successors. Some recent non-FPS favorites, both new and old, that aren't just emulators or varyingly-upgraded retrogame collections:
- Annalynn
- Fights in Tight Spaces
- Tower of Archeos
- ESCHATOS
- SmileBASIC 4
- Hijong Park's Retro Arcade
- Flipflop Solitaire
- Forza Horizon 5
- Noita
- Halo Infinite
- Descenders
- SYNTHETIK
- Heat Signature
- OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast (No longer sold, sadly)
- POLYBIUS
- Demon's Tilt
- The Tetris Effect and TETR.IO

Oh shoot, I forgot to mention I play Cyberbykes: Shadow Racer VR for some reason. I'm even streaming it whenever I get time to stream. (and when I'm not cripplingly depressed)

Re: What games do you play other than Doom?
Tough one without naming off every game I've played. But for games that I always go back to:
Heroes of Might and Magic 1, 2, and 3
Farming Simulator 22
Microsoft Flight Simulator
OpenTTD (Transport Tycoon Deluxe)
OpenRCT2 (Rollercoaster Tycoon 2)
Quake 1 + 2
Unreal + Tournament
Myst
Riven
System Shock 1 + 2
Duke Nukem 3D
Halo: Master Chief Collection
Company of Heroes
StarCraft 1 + 2
WarCraft 3
World of WarCraft
--
I occasionally enjoy racing games like Need For Speed, but I don't play them for long.
